Anti-Caturday: Ship of the Desert

Camel’s are known for spitting (which is actually projectile vomiting) and biting and generally being a nuisance. But, it turns out, they’re really not.

Everybody knows camels are capable of going days, possibly weeks without water and can drink up to 100 liters of water at a time. They are also dead useful; they’re great pack animals, carrying weights far in excess of most horses, they give milk that is very nutritious, their flesh is also very edible, their wool very nice and better yet, their feces are ready to use as fuel for a fire pretty much the moment they poop. They are called “the ship of the desert” but there never was a ship as useful as a camel.
